Ejaz, known for his captivating and thought-provoking artworks, will be creating a live masterpiece that embodies the essence of unity and empowerment.
This celebration is a testament to the power of art in fostering inclusivity, understanding, and love within diverse communities. The exhibition, which has garnered acclaim for gender-charged works, will be a fitting backdrop for this joyful occasion.
In addition to the event announcement, organizers want to remind the public that “The Forbidden Fruit: Object of Desire” exhibition will officially close its doors on December 31st. This final gathering serves as a last opportunity for the community to experience the impactful messages behind The Forbidden Fruit.
A collaboration between Arts Connection Foundation, Food of War US, and the Fuentes Angarita Collection, The Forbidden Fruit: Object of Desire is a multidisciplinary exhibition revolving around the theme of the pomegranate as the most sumptuous and enigmatic of the forbidden fruits, with contemporary applications to culture, art and social policy. The pomegranate serves as a potent visual symbol, herein challenging the various conventional notions being currently utilised to negatively target the LGBTQ+ community via harsh legislation.
